We went to visit MIL in Parys today. This ruin is one of the many deserted farm houses on the side of the highway (I took the pic from the moving car). This is typical of deserted houses in South Africa - all the possible building materials that can be used again are removed from the houses, leaving very stark ruins.
I am a working mom with 2 beautiful boys, Bradley is 5, and Connor is 1. This was the challenge - take a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007, and I did it! And because I'm a sucker... and I'm actually enjoying the challenge... I'm continuing with it. I've finally got a DSLR, courtesy of my husband, so from the 31st of May 2008, all photos are taken with the Canon 350D. Before that, I used a Sony H5.
