I love this bush. It's HUGE. About 4m high, and it looks just stunning in full bloom. The flowers are starting to flower now, when it's covered in flowers I'll take another pic.

Bradley's art

Bradley came home from school today with this drawing. I think it's brilliant. The theme at school this week was farm animals. The brown blobs on the photo are bits of paper that are stuck onto the cow. The picture also has "flowers, hay, a tree with apples, the grass and the sky"
It just had to be my photo of the day :)

Glencove reflection

I went on an off-site yesterday, hence no pics were posted. So, I'll post 2 today from my "trip".
I took a walk last night along the river path to find something to take a photo of. This is Glencove - one of the venues at Glenburn Lodge. I really liked the reflection of the building in the water.

Bird Park

We took Bradley and Connor to the bird park today. It was my last day on maternity leave :(

I've started a succulent garden. This one I grew from a piece from my mom's garden.

Bird Feeder

I got a birdfeeder from my parents for my birthday. Within 10 minutes of putting it on the garden wall and filling it with food, the birds had found it. Within a few days, Red Headed Finches started coming for food - you can see them in this pic. I'm going to try get closer to get a good pic of them.

I thought I was very clever asking my mom to get me a self-feeding bird tray. I don't have the time to go out every morning and fill it with seeds. So much for that, the birds just eat until it's gone. I've gone through a bag of birdseed in ONE week!

Hand and foot prints

I timed doing Connor's hand and foot prints until he was the same age as when Bradley had his done. So, here are their prints at 4 months old - Bradley's is at the top, and Connor's at the bottom. I also managed to get the same frame so they looked similar.
They are almost exactly the same size :) (difficult to see that in the photo though).

Connor

I haven't posted a pic of Connor in a while. He now sits (well, I say it's sitting) if you hold his one hand. He always looks so dazed in photos that I take! I can't get him to smile. LOL!

Morning at the zoo

We went to the zoo this morning. Bradley looks so much like his dad in this photo.

Bradley loves helping me cook. This evening he cut the lettuce into strips for our chicken wraps.

There were a lot of impala that grazed around the chalets. Lovely!

On Sunday we went to Sun City. A waste of time actually, but Bradley enjoyed the croc farm.
