Yellow weaver
I'm on a 3 day facilitation course at the moment which is being run at a conference centre in Craighall Park - Hackle Brooke. The venue is next to a park area with a small dam and stream running through it. This weaver was busy building yet another nest amongst the trees and reeds next to the verander area of the venue (it looked like he had another 2 that had been rejected by a female - I watched him for quite a while in order to get a better shot).

It's so cool to see the very beginnings of a nest

You have a very lovely blog with gorgeous photos! Thanks for visiting!
Hi Jenty,
I love the contrast of that yellow against the gray-green-cyan. Very nice picture! I love birds too.
conference venues often have marvellous gardens- and i do love bird watching...
