We went to Lemon Rose Farm today for a playdate with friends. I had to follow this silly ostrich for quite some time with Connor on my hip to finally one-handedly get a good shot. So... here's 2 photos just because of all the effort it took!

I am a working mom with 2 beautiful boys, Bradley is 5, and Connor is 1.
This was the challenge - take a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007, and I did it!
And because I'm a sucker... and I'm actually enjoying the challenge... I'm continuing with it.
I've finally got a DSLR, courtesy of my husband, so from the 31st of May 2008, all photos are taken with the Canon 350D.
Before that, I used a Sony H5.

What great shots. I seen an ostrich in person out here on Long Island. They are pretty big.
I gotta get a digital camera this year for my Montauk Point blog so I can take better quailty pictures.
