This is a very well used wooden mortar and pestle that my mom got in Zimbabwe from a craftsman.

Hi Jenty,
I have been subscribing to your photo-a-day blog for some time now and loving your photos!
I recently launched eLuckypacket, a social networking blog for South African women living all over the world, and am wondering whether you would mind me featuring your blog on my site?
I'd be flattered ;). This is the second flattering happening to me in a week, last week an artist asked to use my one photo as the basis for a painting.
I am a working mom with 2 beautiful boys, Bradley is 5, and Connor is 1. This was the challenge - take a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007, and I did it! And because I'm a sucker... and I'm actually enjoying the challenge... I'm continuing with it. I've finally got a DSLR, courtesy of my husband, so from the 31st of May 2008, all photos are taken with the Canon 350D. Before that, I used a Sony H5.
