We went to Parys again today to visit Lance's mom. Windmills are dotted all over the landscape on the route there. I just love the look of them, I'm not sure why.
Those are great pictures! Something about windmills facinates me too. The ones we have by us are the modern ones with pointed blades that look rather intimidating up close!
I love windmills too. I think because they help us to be self sufficient. If I didn't know better, some photos look like they could be taken in the midwest of the U.S.
Windmills make such interesting photos Jenty. Sue and I used to have windmill counting competitions when we travelled. It was great fun and the time passed very quickly. On one trip she wiped the floor with me when we drove through Ermelo. Every yard seemed to have a windmill and I had to concentrate on the driving and fell far behind.
I am a working mom with 2 beautiful boys, Bradley is 5, and Connor is 1. This was the challenge - take a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007, and I did it! And because I'm a sucker... and I'm actually enjoying the challenge... I'm continuing with it. I've finally got a DSLR, courtesy of my husband, so from the 31st of May 2008, all photos are taken with the Canon 350D. Before that, I used a Sony H5.

I'm also enchanted by windmills. They are such great subject matter for photographing, aren't they?
