I bought a bunch of lilacy purple tulips from a florist yesterday. They're absolutely beautiful, but oh man, were they difficult to photograph... I just can't get the colours to come out, and when I do, the shot is boring.

I absolutely adore this shot, but they look pink!
And my favourite shot of all, even though the flower looks pink! I played around with the flash.
