Toraa, for me, they signify autumn. Will, they grow wild here on the sides of the road... no-one grows them in their gardens... or very few do. Fee, I was determined to get some shots before they stopped flowering.
I don't comment on your pictures all the time, but I want you to know that I look at them every day and I think you have an excellent eye! These are great!
I am a working mom with 2 beautiful boys, Bradley is 5, and Connor is 1. This was the challenge - take a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007, and I did it! And because I'm a sucker... and I'm actually enjoying the challenge... I'm continuing with it. I've finally got a DSLR, courtesy of my husband, so from the 31st of May 2008, all photos are taken with the Canon 350D. Before that, I used a Sony H5.

Beautiful! We grow Cosmos as a garden plant. A lot of plants grown as annuals come from South Africa originally. Sorry for not visiting sooner
