This is Bradley's horse riding teacher's bird. It was chatting nicely this morning until it noticed the camera.

I am a working mom with 2 beautiful boys, Bradley is 5, and Connor is 1.
This was the challenge - take a photo a day for a whole year! The first photo was taken on the 6th of June 2007, and I did it!
And because I'm a sucker... and I'm actually enjoying the challenge... I'm continuing with it.
I've finally got a DSLR, courtesy of my husband, so from the 31st of May 2008, all photos are taken with the Canon 350D.
Before that, I used a Sony H5.

it is a very nice shot!!
I had one too in my childhood, his name was "Coco" and he talked and sung everything after what we thought him. I learned him a lot of new, not always "nice" words also.... It was fun! He could scream "Mama" like I did, so that Mama was running in the yard to see after me - and of course I was not there, it was only the bird! :-)
You mean birds are like toddlers!!! lol!!! You need to teach him to say "nooit, I was an egg"!!! lol!!
That's a very beautiful bird. How funny that it stopped chatting when it noticed the camera.

they're such lovely birds.
It has always been my dream to have one of these beautiful and intelligent birds as a pet. You have captured him perfectly - love it!
