Christmas in Sandton

After I had lunch at the Bull Run in Sandton today (opposite the JSE), I took a walk down Maude Street and took these photos of the Christmas lights. I think they're very funny. They are just a whole load of figures on the side of the road made from rope lights... men watering gardens, hanging out washing, sitting around, walking and even weeing in plants!!
They must look quite good at night (when there is power in the area of course).

I love them!

You are going to have to get a night shot (with electricity) to show us! ;)

They seem like funny activities for Christmas, but with all those lights they must look really beautiful at night!

kml - they're the strangest lights I've seen for Xmas. Not at all traditional :)
Jane - not sure if I'll be able to, but I'll try

They are cute and I'm sure they look lovely once they are all lit up. I wander why they didn't opt for more traditional decorations?
