Colourful cushion

Isn't it gorgeous? I won 2 of these cushions on e-Luckypacket's blog a while ago. Kallibree from Side Attraction 3 delivered it at my office yesterday (I haven't been able to get to Rosebank to pick it up).
It looks lovely in my lounge, and the kids have already laid claims to them!

Hydrangeas in winter

I can't resist posting these as well.
My mom's hydrangeas still have flowers even though it's the dead of winter here, but look at the amazing colours!

Connor loves picking flowers, and this evening my mom was showing Connor the little flowers on the rosemary bush... so he had to pick some for us.

Skywatch Friday: Sunsets and scaffolding

I took similar photos a few months ago, but thought I'd try again with my new camera and see whether I got better results.
I went to the top of the parkade at work yesterday evening and took these shots of the sun setting over Randburg. I'm thinking of submitting one of them to this month's camera club meeting, which one do you think I should submit?

Inside a Pink Lily

Taken tonight in my kitchen. I used the kitchen light to light up the lily, even though the judges at the camera club said it was the wrong light to use... but beggars can't be choosy... I got home after dark!

Oh and I got these lilies last week from my mom for my birthday  :)
