Connor is 15 months old

I missed his month-day last Friday... ooops!!

Living with a toddler is entertaining, and oh boy, have I forgotten some of the things they can get up to. This evening, I'd taken Connor's nappy off before his bath and was trying to find his pyjamas in the ironing pile, when I looked at him and couldn't help laughing.
He'd wee'ed all over the wooden floor, then taking my clean cardigan from the pile, and was merrily wiping up the mess!! LOL! At least he tried to clean up after himself :).
Those without little kids would probably cringe, but really, what harm was done, I've just put the cardigan in the wash again :)

I couldn't resist showing these to you. I took them this evening at my mom's house. He was showing my dad the parts of his face, and his facial expressions were so cute!

Weekly Winners 11 May - 17 May

I've decided to put the Weekly Winners on this site now, instead of my ramblings blog. That'll make sure I don't repeat photos ;) so it'll be a bit more challenging for me every week.

I went away on a Management offsite to Mongena Lodge, north of Pretoria, and all the photos are from there. It's a pity we didn't get to go on a game drive, else there'd be more to show you.

There was a family of Nyala that were wandering around the conference facilities on Friday.

If someone else hadn't have come up behind Werner, I reckon this Nyala would have eaten the lettuce being offered. The building behind them is a chapel... what a gorgeous place to get married at!

Dawn at the water hole

I took these early this morning at Mongena Lodge. I went on a Management off-site yesterday and today. What a stunning place! The food wasn't anything to write home about though, which spoilt the experience a bit. This is just a taste of the photos I took, I'll post more tomorrow for Weekly Winners, so stay tuned.
They're about to renovate the place, and I hope that the "feel" of the hotel is not lost in the process.

Skywatch Friday - Sunset and scaffolding

I took a shot from the roof of the parkade at work again. This time the sun was in the perfect position (compared to last week's shot).

Both of shots were taken at the same time, but using different settings on the camera. My favourite has to be the second one... but I like the criss-cross of the red/white tape that just shows up in the first one.

Bradley loves using my camera, and this afternoon he took it from me; and declared that he was going to take pictures for my blog today. So I HAD to use them tonight :)

They're not half bad, considering he's only 5!

He was so cute following Connor around. He was also using the zoom for the first time, so I was surprised to see so many of his shots were in focus.

Playing in a Cardboard House

When I got to my mom's house this evening the kids were playing in a cardboard house. It was the first time that I'd seen Connor playing in it... he was having a ball going in and out the door.

My mom bought this house for Bradley when he was a baby and it's still going strong. Not bad for a cardboard toy!

Mothers Day in Parys

We went to Parys today to visit Lance's mother, and as always, I was on the lookout for ruins and windmills on the way there. Today was momentous, as Lance actually STOPPED the car so I could get my shot!! LOL!
