Macro of an Aloe Flower

The aloes are flowering at the moment, and they're so gorgeous! I just had to stop on the way home this evening at take a few pics of some flowering in someone's garden.

Hi, Jenty. I think this is my first time to stop by. I just looked through your project blue shots. So lovely! I love the drum circle captures, the sleepy flowers, the posts with sunlight streaking through. This final shot is gorgeous.

Anna has recruited quite a talented crew of photographers! It's so much fun scoping out everyone's efforts. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks :)
Marilyn, it's with the 70-300mm lens. Maybe I should start adding the lens info to each post.

Great shot there Jenty. The aloes are starting up in the Eastern Cape and soon certain parts of the countryside will be a blaze of colour. That is when I will go mad with my photos.
