We went to Lemon Rose Farm again today, and I managed to get some shots of the guinea fowl that wander around the place. I love the BRIGHT blue on their faces, because it contrasts so nicely against their body feathers.

Great shots. We used to keep those things around to eat the bugs around the place, especially the ticks. They are terribly ugly birds, but they do the trick!
OMG, that's one ugly creature! I didn't think anything was as ugly as a muscovy duck...but this is! Poor guy! Good thing he's got some color :-)
oh that is a great different take beauty is in the eye of the beholder
You did a fine job capturing him - the focus is perfect!!
So ugly that he's beautiful! I love the take on the theme.. :D
you did get some great shots. :) love the bright colors. I have a shot of a turkey I am posting tomorrow that has the same coloring. :)
That's an amazing pattern on that creature! But only it's mother could love that face...
Great shots! Ugly bird! ;)
How colorful and lots of textures. I agree its the face only a mother could love but you captured it perfectly.
Polka dots! That's what he reminds me of! What a unique face!!
The bird is not that pretty at all, but your shot is perfect!
Wow, that is an interesting bird. Amazing photos!
Cool, I've never seen one of those before! Thanks for your great shots of this beautiful bird!
I love the soft focus you've got on the bird. I wonder what species is that? Looks like a bald turkey to me :X heeheee..
