There were quite a few kids in the office today because it's half term for a lot of schools, so I grabbed the opportunity to take photos of A's son JP.

What I learnt from it... the sun was in the wrong spot. It was such a classic error. His face is too dark in most of the photos. I won't make that mistake again... and I really need to learn the manual functions on the camera.

Oh my... I think the photos are lovely. I LIKE the way the light is in these photos. (So there may have been a ton of rejects. THESE are fabulous!)
And if you're getting these results without using the manual settings, I can't IMAGINE what you'll be able to do when you start using manual. Just sayin'.
