One of Connor's favourite pastimes at home is to play in the front of the house (because he's never allowed to venture there on his own) and watch the traffic and passersby through the fencing.
He was outside when I came home this evening, so we played outside for a while... and boy it was a busy few minutes.
First he was plane-spotting...
Then he started sweeping the driveway...
And then the broom got abandoned in favour of shouting "Gaaaaahhh" on top of his voice to passersby, and then lifting his hands in dismay when they disappeared out of sight.
I always find it incredible how the simple things turn out to create the most fun for toddlers.

Oh my, is he a doll or what. Those eyes! My son looks to be about the same age and I agree, I hit the jackpot if a plane flies over or if a neighbor simply mows the lawn. The simplest things always win out. Thanks for playing PSF Jenty, this was spectacular.
You got it exactly right - the simple things are the best. My kids rarely need toys to keep them entertained - they just enjoy running around, shouting, and giving mommy a headache. :)
What a cutie! And if project blue was still going on...you would have a perfect one....the blue of the fencing and the broom.
I LOVE how he points at the planes!
Oh, he is ADORABLE and these shots are perfection!

Oh so sweet!
Such tiny hands, felt like shaking hands with him. God bless!
very adorable - I don't let my kids play out front either!!
That's a great charting of outdoor adventures with toddlers. :) Mine does similar things. Sometimes I think it's all about the attention span.
